BOSSE- The Board of Open Schooling & Skill Education, Sikkim Act 2020 passed on 21-09-2020 by the Sikkim Legislative Assembly stated under Act No. 14 of 2020.NIOS & COBSE has Included BOSSE Board in the list of Approved Boards/Membership. AIU has granted equivalency status to BOSSE and Recognised BOSSE’s Certificates for further Studies.

• .Digital support through SWAYAM platform, transfer of credits up to two subjects passed from other boards and employment-oriented vocational courses.


• BOSSE offers education through printed materials, audio and video programmes. The study material is made available in English and other regional languages.


• .BOSSE offers four subjects- Hindi,English,Bengali and Nepali in Secondary Level – Group A. And five subjects- Mathematics, Science & Technology, Social Science, Economics and Business Studies in Secondary Level – Group B
